The New Orleans Saints traded for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater this past preseason. At age 27 and with five years experience Bridgewater could be the potential replacement once Drew Bress retires.
This Sunday Bridgewater will get his opportunity to shine in the final game of the regular season. Playing in just 34 games in his five-year career due to a horrible injury in 2016 where he tore his ACL and suffered structural damage, Bridgewater has thrown for 6,150 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 22 interceptions for his career while completing 68.7% of his passes.
Hopefully this Sunday we get a glimpse of the potential everyone hoped when Bridgewater was taken 32nd overall in the 1st round of the 2014 draft
